In this video, you’ll see Instructor Steve working with a gentle leader head collar. We have seen a few comments from viewers who mentioned “I tried a Gentle leader to stop my dog from pulling on the leash, and they HATED it!” Like any piece of training equipment, you need to be sure you’re using your collar properly, and it isn’t uncommon for a dog to paw at the Gentle Leader when it first goes on. What’s important is how you deal with that initial response to the new equipment, and how you can use this headcollar to teach your dog to walk on a loose leash!
