There are a lot of reasons that a dog can show aggression. These include:
1. Fear
2. Poor socialization
3. Abuse
4. Pain.
5. Stress
Jax, a 3 year old, male (in tact) Chichuahua mix. He is very friendly with people that he knows but can be highly sensitive to the touch of strangers. That sensitivity can make it difficult to put a collar or leash on him.
